Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica!
- 6:00 PM: Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport and transfer to your hotel for 1 night in San Jose
- 6:30 PM: The hotel will be either the Crown Plaza or Rancho Espanol
- Current Hotels are 25 minutes apart
- 7:00 PM: Buffet Welcome Dinner at Hotel
- 10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 2
7:30 AM: Wake-Up Calls, Pack up, and Breakfast at the hotel
8:30 AM: Bus departures to the Poás Volcano National Park
10:00 AM: Hike on the trail of the Poás Volcano
11:00 AM: Visit La Paz Waterfall (The most famous fall in Costa Rica) for photos
11:40 AM: La Paz Waterfall Photo Session
12:00 PM – Continue on to Sarapiiqui for Lunch
1:00 PM: Cooking classes at Sarapiquí
2:30 PM – Community Service Project
5:00 PM: Bus deports to Hotel Arenal or Montana de Fuego
6:30 PM: Check in at Hotel Arenal or Montana de Fuego for 3 nights
7:00 PM: Dinner at Hotel Arenal or Montana de Fuego
10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 3
7:00 AM: Wake Up Calls and Breakfast at Hotel
8:00 AM: Departure to community service at Proyecto Asis
9:00 AM: Service project at Proyecto Asis (animal) or a Humanity Service Project
12:00 PM: Lunch at Proyecto Asis
1:00 PM: Departure to La Fortuna River Waterfalls
2:00 PM: La Fortuna River Waterfall Reserve and Hike
4:00 PM: Departure to Baldi Thermae
4:30 PM: Free time at Baldi to enjoy Thermal Water Pools and tropical rainforest
7:15 PM: Dinner at Baldi
8:30 PM: Depart to hotel
10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 4
8:00 AM: Wake-Up Calls and Breakfast at Hotel
9:00 AM: Leisure time at the Hotel
11:00 AM: Departure to la Fortuna Village
12:00 PM: Free time to enjoy the village and lunch on own ($ needed for lunch, not included)
12:45 PM: Departure to Hanging Bridges and Zip Line Tour at Aernal Sky Adventures Park
1:15 PM: Hanging Bridge OR Zip Tour Arenal Sky Adventures Park (choose between hanging Line Tour bridges or Zip Line adventure)
5:15 PM: Return to Hotel
7:00 PM: Buffet at Hotel
10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 5
7:30 AM: Wake-Up Call, Pack Up, and Breakfast at the Hotel
8:30 AM: Depart for the warm coast of the Central Pacific
12:30 PM: Lunch at el Jardin Restaurant and Souvenir Shop (included)
1:00 PM: Departure to Parrita, on the way stop at Tarcoles River Bridge to see crocodiles
2:30 PM: Arrival at Parrita Community for service projects (Rita)
*The community service project will be assigned according to the necessity of the community.
5:00 PM: Departure to Manual Antonio
6:00 PM: Check into Hotel San Bada (3 nights)
7:00 PM: Buffet Dinner at Hotel San Bada
9:30 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 6
8:00 AM: Wake-Up Calls and Breakfast
9:00 AM: Depart for Manuel Antonio National Park
9:30 AM: Hike the Manual Antonio National Park
12:00 PM: Departure to Lunch
12:30 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant ($ not included)
2:00 PM: Return to Hotel San Bada
2:15 PM: Beach Afternoon (2 min walk)
7:00 PM: Pizza Dinner (3 slices of Pizza and one Soda)
10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Room Checks
Day 7
8:00 AM: Wake-Up Calls and Breakfast at the Hotel
9:00 AM: Leisure morning at the Hotel
11:00 AM: Departure to Local School for Lunch and Soccer (Service Project)
1:30 PM: Return back to the hotel
2:00 PM: Leisure afternoon for beach and relaxing
5:15 PM: Departure to Sukia Park Tour
5:30 PM: Nightwalk at Sukia Park
7:30 PM: Return to Hotel
7:45 PM: Dinner at Hotel San Bada and Closing Ceremonies
10:00 PM: Bedtime/Curfew/Roomcheck/Pack to go home
Day 8
7:00 AM: Breakfast and Check Outs
Today you depart to the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Please note that you should be at the airport at least three hours before your flight departs.
